Danner Recrafting: Official Resole Prices, Turnaround and Alternatives
Danner recrafts its own boots by hand at its Portland, Oregon recrafting department. Only recraftable styles qualify (for example Mountain Light, Danner Light, Mountain Pass, Acadia, Bull Run, Danner Ridge, Elk Hunter, Marine Expeditionary Boot, Quarry USA, Rain Forest and Sierra), and the leather uppers must be free of holes and major cracking. The Mountain 600 Leaf GTX qualifies for a resole only.

Local cobblers
For non-recraftable Danners or a quicker local job, a full-service boot shop such as Carter's Boots and Repair (Bozeman, published Vibram hiking and lug prices), Logan's (Missoula) or Saver of Soles (Fort Collins) is worth a call. Ask whether they can re-stitch the welt on your style.
