Lucchese Boot Repair: Factory Repair & Restoration, Mail-In and Local Options

Lucchese runs its own Repair and Restoration department, which handles everything from small fixes to complete restoration, including new soles and heels and tears in the leather. Lucchese doesn't publish a repair price list: charges depend on the work needed, and you get pricing from its returns team. If you bought your boots from a Lucchese store or another retailer, Lucchese says to start with that store. Work on your boots by anyone other than Lucchese's craftsmen voids its one-year warranty.

Official details copied from Lucchese's FAQ and warranty pages as checked on 2026-11-04; mail-in prices from each service's own site as checked on 2026-10-26. Confirm before you ship.

Lucchese Repair and Restoration

Price
No price list published. Wear-and-tear repairs (soles, heels, tears in the leather) are charged based on the work required; email [email protected] for pricing. Manufacturing defects within one year of purchase are repaired free with proof of purchase.
Turnaround
Not published for paid repairs. Warranty items are repaired or replaced within 60 days of receipt.
How it works
Bought from a Lucchese retail store, a retail partner or an online partner: contact that store first. Bought on Lucchese.com: call 1-888-582-1883 (Mon–Fri 9–5 Central) or email [email protected]. Lucchese doesn't pay or reimburse shipping costs for items sent to or from its facility for repairs.
Covers
Lucchese boots, shoes and other Lucchese items. The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for one year, not excessive wear, abuse or damage from outside objects, and any work by someone other than Lucchese craftsmen voids it.

B. Nelson cowboy boot recrafting (mail-in)

B. Nelson says it uses the factory method on cowboy boots rather than half soles: each pair is fitted on a last before the sole comes off, cork footbeds are stripped and reapplied, shanks are tightened or replaced, and welts and heel bases are replaced when needed, in at least 22 steps. Wood pegs and brass tacks are used in the shank area. Its page lists $205 including free shipping.
